"I spent a wonderful, relaxing time at La Charierre - a place that I would imagine is wonderful any time of year. We enjoyed walks around the local village, a visit to a nearby chateau, tastings at a wine festival and cosy evenings with a log fire. I would like to return in the Summer - there is plenty to do, activities including badminton, table tennis and bikes to borrow as well as a pool to enjoy or relax around. The setting and views are fantastic with outdoor dining areas. Just add plenty of time to enjoy the local food and wine.

"The fact that my wife is a paraplegic, is always cause for concern when visiting a new gite for the first time having regards to showering, toileting and ensuring ample space for a hoist, particularly under the bed. We needn’t have worried, both gites were just fine and the fact that you have your own shower chair and that you observed the way my wife was manoeuvred around the grounds was very reassuring.
